interACT: Advocates for Intersex Youth strongly supports Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). Intersex youth are of every immigration status, race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, class, and background, and we strive to work in solidarity to protect the rights of all in our diverse community.

Rescinding DACA will leave hundred of thousands of young people subject to possible deportation, loss in employment and wages, and access to education and health insurance. This will put young people at great risk, and particularly for intersex young people, in potentially physically and medically unsafe and dangerous circumstances.

interACT will continue fighting for all in our community, including for those who were recipients of DACA and those who are undocumented. We rise in solidarity with all communities affected by this decision, one that is trying to undermine our health, safety, dignity, rights, and well-being.
