interACT consulted on this feature documentary project by National Geographic that followed Katie Couric as she set out to explore the rapidly evolving complexities of gender identity.

interACT consulted with Katie Couric’s team on the production of the intersex segments of the documentary through the participation of our board president and intersex sociologist Georgiann Davis and by connecting the production team to parents of an intersex child and an intersex adult who were open to sharing their stories.

interACT’s consulting on this project included identifying and connecting Katie Couric and the Gender Revolution production team with a family willing to openly share their experience with their intersex child. interACT was able to connect the Lohman family and their daughter to the project. The Lohman’s were interviewed in their home and attended the premiere of Gender Revolution in New York.
