interACT is the oldest and largest organization in the nation dedicated to advancing the rights of intersex youth/ youth with innate variations in their sex characteristics. Our organization was founded with the core goal of bringing a lawsuit on behalf of an intersex child who had been harmed by intersex genital mutilation. In the years since, we have expanded into the areas of state and federal policy advocacy, public engagement and education, research and provider education, and developing the leadership of intersex youth. interACT is an all-remote organization, and employees can work remotely from anywhere in the United States.

interACT is an equal opportunity employer and we make every effort to center our own and each other’s humanity in the way we do our work together. Our non-discrimination policy strictly prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind, including discrimination and harassment on the basis of race, color, religion, citizenship, political activity or affiliation, marital status, age, national origin, ancestry, physical or mental disability, medical condition, veteran status, sexual orientation, sex or gender, taking or requesting statutorily protected leave, or any other characteristics protected under federal, state, or local laws.
