Hans, interACT's former Communications Director, is a writer, artist, and digital creative known for accessible and colorful commentary on intersex representation. This work builds on the blessing of a childhood spent among multiple generations of intersex activists, and formative experiences in Bay Area queer comics and activism communities. Hans’s groundwork and digital strategies with interACT helped pass California’s SCR-110 and launched subsequent bills toward individual informed consent models for genital surgeries currently still performed in early childhood.
