Casey Orozco-Poore is a non-binary Nicaraguan-American, who recently graduated Harvard Medical School and is currently a PGY1 in the UCLA Child Neurology Program. They have a lifelong passion for neuroscience, majoring in neurobiology at Brown University, working as a clinical researcher in the Department of Emergency Neuroscience at Rhode Island Hospital, and participating in basic laboratory neurobiology research on epilepsy, aging and cognition.
