Kimberly Zieselman, JDExecutive Director

Kimberly is an intersex woman and nonprofit professional with more than twenty years of experience in advocacy and nonprofit management.  After graduating from Suffolk University Law School, she served as a policy analyst for the Massachusetts Joint House and Senate Committee on Health Care, and then worked in Government Relations and Advocacy for a variety healthcare related nonprofits, including Boston Children’s Hospital. While at Children’s, Kimberly advocated for children’s health issues and lead the hospital’s first strategy-driven government fundraising campaign, successfully bringing in over $200 million in new revenue, and earning the National Association of Children’s Hospital’s Legislative Advocacy Award.

From 2009 through 2015 Kimberly  served on the board of the largest intersex support group in the country, the AIS-DSD Support Group and was the annual conference host and organizer in Boston 2013.

In March of 2013, Kimberly joined interACT full time as Director of Advancement, directing fundraising and outreach initiatives, and assisting with strategic planning and organizational development. Kimberly’s success in this role has contributed to AIC’s positive growth and in September 2014 Kimberly stepped into the role of Executive Director and a 2015-2016 Arcus Foundation Leadership Fellow.

Kimberly works from Massachusetts where she lives with her husband, two daughters and two cats.
